Практикалық OEM құралдар сөмкесінің жұмыс ағыны: жұмыс жиынтығын анықтау, құрастыруды құжаттау, үлгілерді мақұлдау және толық ұсыныстарды салыстыру.

OEM tool bag manufacturing starts with a specific carrying problem and turns it into an agreed product specification. A useful brief explains what the bag must hold, how it will be carried and how the finished product will be checked. A catalog photo or a request for a “heavy-duty bag” leaves too much open to interpretation.

This guide provides a purchasing workflow for brands, distributors and professional teams. For orders with our factory, the MOQ is 200 units per model per color and production lead time is 60 days after the formal order is placed. Development scope and sample timing are confirmed separately.

1. Choose the right development starting point

Ask whether the proposal uses an existing pattern, modifies an existing model or requires a new pattern. Suppliers may use OEM, ODM and private label differently, so define the actual work instead of relying only on the label. Existing designs can be a useful comparison reference; a new layout needs its own review and sample.

For a base model, compare the 12-pocket contractor bag, multi-pocket tool carrier және large-capacity tool bag using the same tool list.

2. Build a brief around the working kit

Brief sectionInformation to supply
Use and handlingTrade, daily route, carrying method, storage space and exposure conditions.
ToolsItem list, dimensions of the largest tools/cases, battery configuration and intended loaded weight.
LayoutExternal and internal dimensions, usable opening, pocket diagram and separate pocket/loop counts.
ConstructionFabric, lining, base, reinforcement, zipper, handle, strap and attachment requirements.
Brand and orderColor references, logo files, placement, quantity by variant, packaging and destination.

Separate requirements into essential and optional items. For example, a certain case must fit through the opening; an additional accessory pocket may be optional. That distinction helps the supplier propose a practical layout without silently dropping an essential feature.

3. Specify materials as a complete construction

Denier alone does not define finished-bag durability. Record the fiber, fabric construction, weight where relevant, coating, lining and reinforcement, together with the base and attachment details. If a performance claim matters, agree the test method, conditions and acceptance criteria before ordering. A coated fabric does not by itself establish a waterproof assembled bag.

4. Approve samples in stages

  1. Layout review: compare drawings, dimensions and the itemized components with the brief.
  2. Fit sample: pack the actual working kit and check access, closure, balance and carrying adjustments.
  3. Branding review: inspect logo size, position, color, label text and retail packaging.
  4. Production reference: agree the sample revision, material references, measurements and accepted changes in writing.

Record comments with annotated photographs and measurements. Keep an approved reference for later comparison; a sample approval should identify the exact version rather than simply say “approved.”

5. Compare quotations on the same basis

Ask suppliers to separate sample or development charges, unit price by variant and quantity, branding, packaging and transport scope. Confirm minimum quantities per model and color, the start point for production scheduling and the effect of material substitutions. Our factory MOQ is 200 units per model per color, with production lead time of 60 days after the formal order is placed.

If patterns, tooling or exclusivity are part of the project, document the agreed ownership, storage, reuse and access terms. Do not assume that a development payment automatically establishes a particular arrangement.

6. Define bulk inspection and reorder control

Use the approved reference to check material identification, critical dimensions, pocket layout, stitching, closures, hardware, logo placement, quantities and packaging. Agree any sampling plan, defect definitions and response to nonconforming goods before production. If performance testing is required, specify who performs it and how results are recorded.

For reorders, identify the same specification revision and record every approved change. A similar-looking fabric or zipper should not replace a specified component without review.

Сатып алушылардың жиі қойылатын сұрақтары

What is the minimum order?

Our OEM and ODM minimum is 200 units per model per color. Different models or colors cannot be combined to meet this minimum.

How long does development take?

Build a schedule covering brief approval, material sourcing, samples, revisions, production, inspection and transport. Confirm dates after the supplier has reviewed the actual project.

Should I start with private label instead?

If an existing design meets the tool-fit requirements, read the private-label planning guide. If it does not, document the required changes before deciding the development route.

Send an OEM project brief with your tool list, reference drawings, quantity and branding requirements to request a specification review and sample quotation.
